Celebrate the victory of good over evil with three festive chef specials from Chef Rupa Vira. Available for a limited time

Dussehra marks the triumph of good over evil: Lord Rama’s victory over Raavan, and the end of nine nights of Navratri. Across India, families celebrate with bonfires, gatherings and, of course, food. This year, Chef Rupa Vira brings that festive spirit to Ashburn with a Dussehra Special of three chef creations, made fresh to order.

  • Vijaya Makhana Chaat

    Roasted lotus seeds tossed with tangy chutneys and crunchy toppings. “Vijaya” means victory, and this light, festive chaat is our tribute to the day.

  • Sabudana Vada

    Crisp, golden sago and peanut fritters, made the Mumbai way Chef Rupa grew up with. They’re named for the arrow that ended Raavan’s reign.

  • Shakarkandi Chaat

    Fire-roasted sweet potato with chaat masala and a squeeze of lime. It’s a nod to the Raavan Dahan bonfires that light up Dussehra night.
